What is the structure of the 12-week term?
Each 12-week term is divided into 3 blocks of 4 weeks. A different dance style is taught during each block — helping you focus, progress, and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
What dances will I learn?
Absolute Beginners start with foundational styles: Merengue, Bachata, and 3-Step.
Beginners rotate through Salsa, Kizomba, and Bachata.
Improvers/Intermediate students rotate through Bachata, Salsa, and Kizomba.
No two levels cover the same dance at the same time, so each hour is fresh and unique.
I’ve never danced before. Where do I start?
No problem! Our Absolute Beginners class is made for you — no experience needed. You’ll start with easy, rhythm-based dances that help you develop timing, balance, and basic movement.
Can I attend more than one class per night?
Yes! Many students choose to attend back-to-back sessions. For example, you can take Beginners at 7PM and stay for Improvers/Intermediate at 8PM for additional practice and exposure with the approval of the instructor. If you are an Absolute Beginner you may not be able to participate in an Improver & Intermediate class.
What if I miss a class?
No worries. Each 4-week block focuses on one style, so you won’t fall behind too quickly. We also encourage attending both levels or joining practice sessions when available.
How do I move up to the next level?
Your instructor will guide you when you’re ready to transition to a more advanced class. Progress is based on consistency, rhythm, and technique—not perfection.
